Scott Yahraus, a positive leader who has demonstrated tremendous achievements in sales and business development, has great relationship skills and is an effective business strategist. He holds a degree in economics from Creighton University in Omaha, NE, and joins Receivership Specialists as an Associate. He brings a knowledge of sales, marketing, real estate, and technology to Receivership Specialists.
Prior to joining Receivership Specialists, Mr. Yahraus demonstrated his leadership skills with teams that developed web-based platform for claims and judgments; created long-term revenue streams, developed best practice for creating high value proposition for business creditors and attorneys; and built relationships with some of the nation’s largest real estate operators and REITs.
While with Alliant Capital, Mr. Yahraus was responsible, over a 15 state area, for the origination and acquisition of affordable housing tax credits. He originated and performed initial deal analysis which included modeling, financial structuring, negotiating, offering to purchase tax credits, and closing on highly complex real estate transactions. Mr. Yahraus’ involvement included 50 deals that annually totaled $500,000,000 in tax credit equity.
The principals of Alliant appointed Mr. Yahraus to pursue market rate multi-family acquisitions. His duties included researching and selecting locations for investment, negotiating, and closing on said investments.
Mr. Yahraus directed full cycle redevelopment projects for himself specializing in single-family housing in New Orleans post Hurricane Katrina completing 4 projects and assisting homeowners with financing enabling them to move back to their hometown post Katrina. He also imported LED lighting from overseas and sold them to lighting distributers, multi-family property owners, and Amazon.com under the name of Standard LED.
Mr. Yahraus, after graduating college, joined a well known real estate firm. There, he helped create several commercial and residential developments in the Las Vegas Valley. Mr Yahraus assisted with site selection, research, acquisition, negotiations, financing, leasing, and management.
In addition to holding a Nevada real estate license, Mr. Yahraus is president of the Stonehaven Estates Home Owners Association and coaches basketball and baseball through L.A. Parks & Recreation and Chatsworth Jr. Baseball League. He is a member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
